An improvised fantasy roleplaying game set in the world of Alba Salix. Where no animals are harmed.
We are a group of friends that come together every month to co-create a story in the Alba universe. We are using the Dungeon World roleplaying system and improv to tell our story.
Sean and Eli, the creators of Alba Salix, have spent a long time building the world, but even they don’t know how the story is going to unfold. It’s a tale of flightless fairies, half-demons and cafeteria line workers, dystopian empires, magical waterfalls and mysterious books. Oh, and the end of time—that’s in there somewhere too.

Meet the Characters
Darcy is a human with spiky brown hair that is always unkempt. Her eyes are green, but catch them just right and they will flash yellow with a feral gleam. She prefers ill-fitting jerseys and centaur pants.
Darcy is played by Marisa King.
Blat is an abomination—a half-breed demon. He could totally pull off being human if not for the red sheen to his skin, the horns that poke up from his forehead and his pointed ears. His clothing is carefully chosen to constrain and hide his large wings. In the first episode, Blat dresses like a 1950s businessman (think Don Draper). His fedora sits snugly between his two horns.
Blat is played by Carter Siddall.
Eggerton is a flightless fairy, whose rosy cheeks and round, bright green eyes dominate his round face. He is a public relations professional whose slightly mismatched suit allows his opaque purple wings to poke out and rest comfortably against his back. A pleather pouch attached at his hip is home to his homemade fairy snacks.
Eggerton is played by Michael Howie.
Sean the GM
Sean loves creating complicated plotlines only to have his amazing players throw them out the window with a fantastic decision or offer. He brings his dated but extensive experience as a 15-year-old playing D&D through the night, and his love of animals.
He is played by Sean Howard.

We set out to create a story first and a roleplaying game second. We also have four key ideals that are guiding us.
- Have a super fun time
- Listen fully: Don’t interrupt each other; focus on the scene, not the joke; “Yes, and” or “No, but”
- Empathy first: For each other; for the animals in our world; less focus on violence
- Be inclusive: Play the game we will be proud of later
